Club entry for the Frank Walton Competition, judged on Wednesday 8th March 2023 by Val Hamilton, organised by the Oban Photographic Club.

Each club entered 12 images. Oban PC won with 205/240, Mid Argyll CC 191, Cowal CC 189, Carradale CC 187, Campbeltown CC 185.
Fifteen images received 20 marks.

The trophy was donated in 1981 by Frank Walton, the photographer who had the camera shop in Oban, for a new annual competition between Argyll & Bute clubs. In 1981 MACC won against Oban and Mull, with 25 colour slides per club. The clubs take turns to organise the event in their home towns. The next competition will be organised by MACC in March 2024.
