How to join
Membership is open to all. Prospective new members are welcome to come to one or two meetings without expense to see what we are like.
There is a membership subscription of £15 collected in October, and £15 again in January.
Junior subscription (under 18 years) is free.
Occasional visitors (including former members who can only come to very few meetings in a session) are asked to contribute £1.50 each evening. This would be refunded if you were to subsequently pay the full subscription.
Fees contribute towards use of the room, speakers' and judges' expenses, and the cost of equipment, supplies, refreshments and taking part in events outside of our club.
We also charge a fee if you enter competitions - £1.50 per section, maximum £5 per competition.
